Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in America. The most well-known of her roles is Skyler White in her role on the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress for a Drama Series. The other roles she played are Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. Her passion for performing at the age of Preparatory prior to moving to Ohio with her family in the mid-70s. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre at Northwestern University. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for many years prior to trying out for film and TV roles. In 1992, Anna landed her first big role as Arden in the 29th episode from Down the Shore. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons from the year 2000. She also starred as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully The Deadwood film and several other films also featured her. Gunn has also appeared on scene in David Swimmer's show Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the podcast Numbered Day comprising four audio plays. The romance between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the tale in Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and the eventual end of their relationship reflecting the exact arc of Walter White's last years of life.
