Bonnie Schneider works as a journalist for CNN. Her TV show, LAST HOUSE REMAINING on DIY NETWORK began airing on March 30 2012. The show also has her as on camera meteorologist, and the co-executive director. Bonnie's first book is EXTREME WEATHER published Palgrave Macmillan on January 31, 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. When she was in Boston, she also provided the entertainment and lifestyle reports as a special assignment reporter every day of the week. She worked for WFOR-TV as a weekend meteorologist prior to moving over to WB56. She worked in several reports and meteorology roles at News 12 Long Island - the 24-hour news channel along with WXII TV - an NBC affiliate station located in Winston-Salem. Additionally, she was employed by an affiliate of the CBS Network in New York City as a frequent meteorologist filling in on The Saturday Early Show.
